My work was based on the question of how to make the connection between a place and the feeling generated there visible and thus depict it visually. In the city I feel unrest and hectic among the many people.
Surrounded by traffic and the constant construction work, a siren often whizzes past me. 
In contrast, in a forest, I feel peace and relaxation, carried by the gentle wind. 
Only crickets chirp, birds chirp in the branches and now and then a woodpecker knocks or bees buzz around me. 
Displaying the frequencies of these ambient sounds makes the invisible visible.
